ALCOM Group Berhad (Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad) is one of Malaysia’s most established manufacturers of aluminium products, supplying to global industries including automotive, construction, and packaging. With decades of heritage, ALCOM needed a modern catalogue that would reflect its industrial leadership while appealing to global stakeholders.
Despite ALCOM’s long-standing reputation, their existing marketing materials lacked a unified visual identity. Their catalogue didn’t reflect the premium, innovation-driven image the company wanted to portray. The content was also too technical for general corporate use and lacked visual engagement.

Direction
We worked closely with ALCOM’s internal team to understand their values, goals, and target audience. Our goal was to keep the design minimal, professional, and content-driven — reflecting ALCOM’s trusted legacy and global relevance.

Content Structuring & Refinement
We reorganized the product and company information to improve flow and readability. Technical terms were preserved for accuracy, but supported with simplified, humanized narratives for business audiences.

Creative Catalogue Design
Our team designed a sleek, modern catalogue using a structured grid layout, consistent visual hierarchy, and clean typography. Visual elements such as icons, section headers, and imagery were used to elevate product understanding without clutter.

Visual Identity Consistency
We infused ALCOM’s existing brand colors, fonts, and tone across all pages to ensure consistency with their broader identity, while subtly refreshing the look to feel more international and refined.
The newly designed catalogue is a central asset for international marketing, client presentations, and stakeholder engagement, positioning ALCOM as a modern, forward-thinking industrial leader.
Content restructuring and a clean layout enhanced readability, making technical product information more accessible to partners, distributors, and prospective clients.
With better visual flow and callouts, the catalogue encouraged more inquiries during trade events and client meetings, supporting the sales and business development team.
Design elements now align seamlessly with ALCOM’s broader brand identity, helping the company present a unified, polished image across digital and print touchpoints.
